Our Journey

Speak Out sign

To communicate our purpose with power, first we must listen in. Filled up by stories of ‘why’ we’ll move forward together, using pioneering techniques to define our ‘what’ and bring our authentic purpose to light.

On our journey of discovery we will travel through three areas:

Listen in

A time for reflection and honouring your unique perspective with skill, compassion and authenticity. We must disentangle the voices of our parents, friends and the media to find our own voice.

We’ll take the first two weeks to discover purpose.

Week 1: Listening in to our ‘why’ – the fire in our bellies

Why do we do what we do? Exploring our core beliefs and experimenting with metaphor to create resonance with our sense of purpose. Introduction to the Revelator Pitch.

Week 2: Our stories of ‘why’ – the ground we stand on

Where does our conviction come from? Connecting with transformative moments in our own stories. Expanding the vocabulary of our metaphor and energising the language of our Revelator Pitch. Understanding how to add texture, depth and layers through the art of storytelling.

Find your voice

A compelling story is filled with possibility. Engaged, interested and inquisitive minds will hear your ‘why’ and be drawn to find out what comes next. In this part of the course we will define your ‘what’.

Week 3: Giving voice to our ‘what’ – the work that flows through us

What are we actually doing about it? Bridging from our beliefs and our story to our ‘what’, describing what we do in terms of actions and benefits – embodying our message, delivering wholeheartedly, assessing the reach and impact made. Call to action – what we want people to think, say or do differently.

Week 4 Preparation: Submit your Revelator Pitch to Simon and the team

Speak Out

The time is now. In our changing world, this is your chance to bring your authentic purpose to light. Now that you have the tools, it’s not just a nice to have, it’s your responsibility. Speak Out.

Week 4: Speak Out – breathing life into our visions

Who are you, what do you want and why should I care? Sharing our Revelator Pitches in small groups, peer to peer coaching, and opportunities to present to the whole group with coaching from Simon and the team. Celebration, reflections and commitments – moving forthward.

What’s included?
