What if we planted a trillion trees?

When Felix Finkbeiner (pictured) was nine years old, inspired by Wangari Maathai, he founded Plant for the Planet, which aims to plant a trillion (yes, a trillion) trees around the world. The UN handed over its Billion Trees campaign to Plant for the Planet, and so far they have reached nearly 14,000,000,000.
Felix was a finalist in our ‘tole-rants’ competition (a tole-rant is a rant that points to a solution to a social problem) and he truly is an exceptional young man. Grown ups, take heed!
